Anna is a Series Director and Executive Producer with extensive experience leading high-profile projects for major UK and international broadcasters, working with production companies such as Sandstone Global, Lion TV, Voltage TV, Wall to Wall, and Storyvault TV. As head of De Ventós Films, she now also develops independent projects, securing recent commissions from Ancestry and streaming platforms CaixaForum+ and Filmin.

Anna has consistently taken on leadership roles within the industry. For seven years, she served as Vice-Chair of Directors UK, advocating on behalf of over 8,000 fellow filmmakers. In 2024, she was on the Edinburgh TV Festival Committee, curating and developing panel sessions that shaped key conversations across the sector. Anna has also contributed to the wider cultural landscape as a trustee for the Directors Charitable Trust and as a judge for the 2024 Realscreen Awards, RTS Student Awards and the 2025 Grierson Awards.

Anna’s career reflects both her creative ambition and commitment to championing talent and ideas across the industry – a mission that continues with De Ventós Films.

David began his directing career in broadcast TV at the tender age of 21, making flashy, trashy, late-night shows for MTV, C4 and ITV. He grew out of it (eventually) and developed an authentic, intimate and natural style of documentary filmmaking, combining a keen eye with a great nose for a story and a gift of coaxing the best out of contributors and collaborators alike. David’s work now spans short, medium and feature-length documentaries, and has screened in many UK and international film festivals, streaming platforms and channels.

David is also active in commercial filmmaking, and has applied his unique approach to factual filmmaking to building brands, boosting charities and bringing social change.
